Welcome to 2nd Lieutenant Sam Frost who will be joining the 1st Battalion

On April 11, 2025, the Royal Anglian Regiment proudly welcomed its newest officer, 2nd Lieutenant Sam Frost, into our ranks. Following the successful completion of the Platoon Commanders Battle Course in Brecon, he will be joining the 1st Battalion, ‘The Vikings.’

His commissioning parade at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst was attended by Brigadier (Retd) Richard Lyne, serving as Deputy Colonel of the Regiment, alongside Lieutenant Colonel Tim Irwin-Parker. Also present on parade were Colour Sergeant Schurch (pictured) and Colour Sergeant Du Maurier.
